Which is worse?
    #3483506 - 12/11/04 08:21 PM (19 years, 3 months ago)

If somebody wants to fight you, and there are people you know watching, would you say it's worse to back out of the fight, or go through with it and lose?

The ones who backs out will be regarded as more of a coward, but the one who loses will be a loser. If you were going to get in a fight you know you'd lose, would you rather back out in front of everybody or go through with it but lose?

the people you know should gang beat the guy who picks a fight with you, if he wins, that is.

I would say it's better to go through it and lose, than to back out. At least if you go through it and lose, you will still gain experience, learn your weaknesses, and you can then improve them for the next confrontation. You can also know you had the balls to go through with a fight, which many people do not

I'd rather back out, getting into a fight when you know you're going to get your ass kicked doesn't make you look like a man, it makes you look like a dumbass. Fighting doesn't solve anything anyway, so even if I could kick the other guys ass, I wouldn't fight them. That's just me though.

when I was younger I wouldn't back out of a fight regardless. I don't know why. Stupid pride I guess. Now I'd tell em to stick it up their ass and walk away. If they came at me anyway I'd do my best to leave some damage even if I did "lose".

I have more respect for people who can successfully talk their way out of a fight while still saving face on both sides. Sometimes fists are not the best way to tell who is the bigger man.

I wouldn't fight, I'd just walk away. If people think I'm a coward that doesn't really bother me, I just don't like fighting even if I knew I could win.

broken fist or broken face, both suck ass in my opinion. i used to always fight win or lose. now ive matured and dont get into situations. and if one comes up i jsut fuck off.

also would depend on what its about. if its jsut some dumb bar fight shit better to leave. if someone is getting shit kicked or an old person robbed or somthing i think its a given to try and help. fighting to look good just seems kinda juvinille. maybe in the cave man days, but now we dont even get any pussy when we win. so why is it worth it?

Fighting is one of the primal rushes. I hate it the moment before the first hit is thrown, especially if I'm throwing it, but the feeling is one of the most unique feelings. It's like sex or drugs almost, one of the basic feelings in which everything else is built off of

I don't like fighting or dislike it, but many who are vehemently against it are those who have never gotten in a serious fight

i liek the rush i like not hurting poeple or being hurt more. i do realise what your talking about now. and to me the next best thing that doesnt usually hurt people is racing. but some people are addicted to these certain rushes, which isnt a bad thing untill they start fucking other people up.

heres a summery of a fight. insane adrenalin, or somthing, rush that really makes nothing else matter. for me its liek the most intense anger, excitemnt, happyness that ive ever fealt. i get dizzey cant see right and dont really know what part of my body is moving. its all instinct and i quite like the feeling. this has been a problem for me as a child which is why i know try my hardest to jsut go away. it really is no different than being influenced by a strong drug (cause you are being) and very bad things can and do happen. people under estemate a humans strength when its comes to crunch time and people can die over spilled beer.

going through karate i learned lots about specific spots on our body. im really actually scared to hit anyone. the body although potentially strong is quite sensative. very very easy to kill someone with a very weak shot. not worth it. jsut kick in nuts and get out if need be.

Good point. I must admit, I have fantasized about beating the shit out of some one for whatever reason... I don't know why it appeals to me as such, but the idea of dominating another human being gives me a certain thrill. I think it's just the alpha male instinct.

I fight as little as possible,
Normally If time allows I talk the person
down, If not I defend myself accordingly..
I don't like to be hit so I normally win
using the least amount of force neccessary...

Sounds like you should get some self defense lessons..
so you can be more sure of yourself..A man needs to be confident
they can defend themselves, It turns the girls on too.

i took karate.  that is why i DONT fight anymore.  its more teaching hwo to avoid get out of situations than it is how to fight.  they do teach you how to fight, even more reason for me not to want to, but since then i have never used it.  kind of neat to me.  not 1 physical fight since i started karate, im actually pretty proud.  thats about 4 years i guess.

ya girls liek it but back in teh ages you  beat some brute and you get some fine beastly hairy monkey people pussy.  now you still gotta spend $100 on food and booze, god damnit.  or maybe thats jsut me

Ravus has a really good point,Fighting is like wrestling for me. Before a match I hate wrestling and think why the fuck do i wrestle. But while the match is going on, it's acually a weird really.
