do you mean right after the bad trip, or a couple days after it?
i never have problems smoking weed...and i agree with hendostan, it's definitely prevented some really bad things.

If you smoke during your come up it will make it so you cant possibly have a bad trip. At least from my experience.

Perhaps it is just me then. I am always very happy when I am high which prevents me from dealing with any negativity during a trip.

it's all about the regularity with which one smokes pot that usually determines the effects of it. i smoke pot all the time, and therefore its effects seem mundane to me. to more infrequent smokers, or less-experienced ones, the effects are more enhanced and seem new and different; ultimately resulting in a better mood.
...not to mention, different people have different highs; "dumb" stoners, "laughy" stoners, "philosophical" stoners, "happy" stoners...everyone's a different breed. glad that weed works so well for you.

heres the deal, pot affects everybody different, if your like myself, i dont really like pot unless im about to go to sleep or if its really good and i dont have anything else to do, i dont smoke usually when i trip, it makes me paranoid and decreases the overall quality and robs me from any divination that may have occured, try smoking some of your shrooms instead

I have only done shrooms once, and it was a bad trip.
About 3 days later I smoked a joint and had a flashback (which I didnt think was possible), I started hallucinating and shit just like when I was shrooming. Luckly, unlike when you are on shrooms, I was able to lay down and goto bed.

....and that was when I knew it would be a bad trip, the bed was tieing me to the bed and my shirt started to eat me..............and just like that it was over, as if nothing had happened.

After my first trip, I would get some very mild flashbacks of my trip and it would freak me out a little bit. It didn't bother me too much, so I still blaze all the time.
To the dude that said that smoking weed on the come up prevents a bad trip... well that is true probably only to YOU.
I find smoking during the come up close to the peak will intensify the effects, and make your thoughts run alot faster. I once smoked on some very crazy shrooms and ended having up the most fucked up drug experience of my life.
It's strange because I have NEVER tripped without smoking some bud, however, I think smoking does make me more paranoid and edgy on shroomz... makes me think of things which I don't necessarily want to.
I guess next time I won't smoke on shrooms to see what they are really like by themselves?

unfortunately for me i used to love weed
it was so great and i had some great times with it going to the movies and just littarely laughing for hours about the same thing
then my freind introduced me to shrooms and i had a bad trip and i could never smoke weed again because it gave me so much anxiety
i did shrooms again a few months later trying to recooperate from the first bad trip i thought if i take shrooms again itl cure me
i had another bad trip so i guess that didnt help out at all
