You cannot STERILIZE just any old blender container. Most kitchen blender containers have parts - that will melt in a PC
You need one like this & they are not CHEAP.

I just did this and the results are amazing. Take the blade and base and screw it into a 1/2 pint jar, cover with foil. My blade assembly screwed into the jar perfectly, add 100 ML or so of water and cover with foil, all my parts survived pressure cooking. Once cooled down after PC'ing, I transferred a 1/2" slice of colonized substrate. Screw the blade assy back into the jar, and blend for 3 secs. You are left with a silvery-floating speck jar of mycelia water. Anyways, I drew 2 syringes out of this and inoculated 1 pint jars. 1 CC of this solution at each knock up point. 1 pint jars have nearly colonized completely in 7 days. Awesome!

You COULD do it with lots of cleaning and alcohol and being sterile..success rates won't be prime but it can work.

For those of you that do not know regular mouthed mason jars thread perfectly onto most blender bases. My Oster works great and is PCable it is a poly-carbonate base BTW whereas my Proctor Silex was not and distorted so indeed not all blenders are created equal. I simply drilled a hole in the base for a septa plug (injection port).
-------------------- Getting the most out of your casings!, A pinning strategy. Oyster Shell "Flour" $2 for 1lb. a hell of a deal Not what is overlay but rather what overlay is Gas Exchange vs. FAE "We all have priorities. I used a closet once setup a nice little lab trouble was all the shit that was in there ended up in the bedroom that pissed off the GF then I ended up dumping her as she was getting in the way of my sterile culture technique! Ya I got priorities too!!!"
