we need more info to identify those and all other LBMs (little brown mushrooms)

at the very least, you will need to provide spore print color and habitat info, read this thread for more detail on what we need to know:
http://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Cat/0/Number/2263556/an/0/page/0

That being said, they look like they could be galerinas, which are VERY deadly. DO NOT EAT.

i found these growing on dead logs in minnesota.the gills are a light brown (what is attatched/not?) the caps are mostly 1 1/2 inches.the stems i cant really measure because they were coming out of the dead logs, and i couldnt get the whole stem because they kept breaking.the stems are smooth and thin, and hollow.the caps are a carmel type of color, and are spherical.theyve got a convex.the spore print color is brown.the bruise color is kind of blackish and dark brown.most of the mushroom i cant really smell, but there is a light scent that is very similar to morrell mushrooms.

It's if/how the gills are attached to the stem:

Galerina autumnalis: Deadly.

They are very common in the late fall and early spring, and I've even found them in January, poking there heads up through snow.

Other mushrooms are very rare in the winter in Ohio and I would imagine that to be true in Minnesota as well.

Minnesota, my home state, is for the most part devoid of any Psilocybin containing mushrooms. There are the possible Gymnopolis and Panaeolus subbalteatus, and thats about it. I have thought in the past that maybe Ps. semilanceata grows in MN, but after weeks of hunting during prime conditions found nothing. Thats not to say they aren't there, just not common.

There is however, great Morel hunting in MN!!! Along with lots of other good edibles. With all the hardwood forest in the east and northeastern parts of MN, mushrooms are plentiful, especially during autum months.

How does your question pertain to this thread?? Maybe you should ask about it in the thread addressing the whole moderator situation. Though I can already tell you you won't get an answer because its policy not to discuss these things. Though I will say if you've known MJ(hes a great guy and all)for a while you would probably be able to answer your own question.
