 Need help IDing please...

I was mowing my back lawn today and i noticed the cap of a small mushroom, luckily it didnt get cut somehow. But anyways, the mushroom looks like the following. It is about 4cm tall. cap is about 1-2 cm wide, round, no point. gills are attached to stem, light brown, not many spores, gills are fairly spread apart. stem was whitish just under cap but below that was brownish orangy coloured, very thin. no bluing as of yet. I won't be surprised if it isnt magic , but I'm just curious about it.. thanks

The one's I found aren't like the ones in your picture, my cap was more tannish, and the stem was much thinner... I hope you have some luck with yours though.

my lighting made the caps seem darker, a lot of them are more tan/grey....are your stems very hard too, these stems are thin but they dont bend at all a slight bend makes it snap.

Mine kinda look like the ones from #2... and the stem wasnt actually very hard... when it dried it became quite floppy, caps look identical though.. my mushroom might not have been as full grown as yours

yeah those are what i thought, i havent dried them yet, most of the caps are actually grey/tan and some are darker and getting closer to brown

You guys should pm one another. it is back and forth between you 2 I would love to see the pics when you get them up I went and picked up compost yesturday and put it in these big bins I have and today I had some cool lookig fungi this morning

They sound like the exact colour of mine.. i wish i had a camera.. mine didnt really have a point, but the very top had a little dip in it, maybe it got nicked by the mower... hopefully someone responds that will be able to identify..
