Primordium?? foamy looking mycelium?
    #3474927 - 12/10/04 07:38 AM (12 years, 1 day ago)

hi people, i'm really curious about what i see on one of my cakes. (the ball like growths) From what i have read up in the faqs, i'm guessing that they are primordium.
Here's the picture, what do you guys think?

Also, the mycelium growin on my cakes are getting fluffy, very much resembling foam..The whole cake appears bumpy. Is this normal?

Thanks for the help =)

Yep thats primordia! A day or two those will be pins (maybe not all of them) then a few days later, mushrooms. Good luck!
