This is my first thread beside the other one I posted earlier that got locked becuase I guess you can't ask about where to find them, and locations. Don't see why not it isn't against the law or anything... but oh well those are the rules.

So does anyone have any leagal info they can give me?

Actually picking Psilocybes IS ileagal. Thats why specific locations are prohibited and who is going to give up the location of a patch to someone they dont know? You know the habitat or you should if you want to hunt em. You just gotta get out and look.

I suggest research, there is no real quick answer to that question... There is a lot of good info out there to be found, start by reading the forum guidlines in case you havent already.

Thats the thing i don't really have the time, + i do not have my linence yet, and i have to convince someone to go up with me, and they arn't going to want to just go to look.
It was kinda funny because i walked out the front of my school and there where like 10-15 Amanita pantherina growing right there... i don't know for sure if thats what they where i looked at them for a little bit without makeing it obvious and after reasearching a bit thats what i came to believe. i was excited for a while though.
I am ill experinced too, i have reasearched mushrooms in the past with the mind set to go hunting, and i have a few times in the area without sucess.
Does anyone have any advice on the best way to get started hunting?

I'm under the impression that in oregon it is not illegal as long as they are in a paper bag. it is illegal if they are in plastic - intent to distriibute, and it is illegal if they are growing on your property - "cultivation" also intent to distribute. Also it's suppose to be legal if it's for religous purposes. That is what I have read.

The best way to get started is to read alot.
Nobody has the time to spoon feed you.
If you don't have a license yet then you are probably not an adult.
If this is the case your not allowed to be here.
