Interesting Mushrooms (Bay Area) (Pics)

As the other post noted, it's been raining a lot in the Bay Area... And mushrooms seem to have grown in my backyard (Richmond area) just overnight. I have no idea what these mushrooms are, haven't and don't dare to consume even a sand grain sized piece. They just looked interesting enough to post here. I plan to post detailed observations for identification tomorrow. Unless someone immediately points out these mushrooms are poisonous and/or not active. Thanks, -lykos

what a pretty cluster!
but yes, not active. And if you're interested in learning more as far as an accurate ID goes, check out the FAQs on how to post a good description

Ah, bummer...
Yeah, I was reading the FAQs on how to post a good description but circumstances had forced me to do the descriptions tomorrow.
Anyway, I'll wait for what other people have to say, but thanks for saving me the trouble and for welcoming me!

The prints are white, I can tell you that much. You can see spore deposits left on the caps of the mushrooms below the gills of other mushrooms.

Those might be Honey Mushrooms, just a guess. Are there little black hairs popping up from the center of the cap?

I also noticed the white deposits of something, but I passed it off as dew -- especially due to the weather and because these mushrooms were decomposing so much stuff that a puff of steam would rise every time the breeze died for a moment.
My eye sight isn't the best and I did not get close enough to the mushrooms to notice little black hairs, but honey mushroom is a good guess. I did a Google image search and found the following link:
http://www.lightofmorn.com/html/honeys.htm
The pictures on that site look extremely similar to what I saw.
So, I've given up on these mushrooms I'll look for more in my area with more skepticism.
Thanks and sorry for all of your troubles.

those aren't mushrooms at all, they're pancakes. i don't know if they are white flour or wheat flour though, before tasting you'll have to wait for the pros for a proper id.
