 How much should I eat?

I have never taken shrooms before and I've never done anything besides smoke weed and drink. Anway, I picked up 1/8th of shrooms today and I was wondering how much do you people think I should eat since this is going to be my first trip?
Not sure what kind of shrooms they are but they are dried. I'm 19 years old, 5'6 and about 125 pounds if body size even matters, I'm not sure, but I would assume it does.
I wont be eating them till tomorrow and I will take them on an empty stomach with some orange juice. Any help is appreciated, thanks in advance.

It varies,
I would personally recommend taking about 2 grams for your first trip, edit: I'm not sure how much of an 1/8th this is...
I recommend 2 grams anyway, and prepare carefully, or just chew well, like really really well...

Eat it all. 
Where are you going to be? Who with? etc.
Eating all of them, assuming they are good, will put you up pretty high. And I take it you've never tripped on acid or other psychedelics, so maybe starting off with all of them wouldn't be a good idea. 2 grams maybe? Hell, I don't know. Someone else has to answer this. Sorry.

also, if you want a stronger trip, dont eat for 4 or more hours beforehand...

No I have never done acid or any other psychedelics.
I plan on taking them in my house with one other friend, my parents will be gone so I wont have to worry about that.

eat the whole eighth. it will trip you good, but not too much. get around people that you are relaxed around and put on some good tunes. about 2 hours into your trip look in the mirror.

me and all my friends took an eighth for our first time. i had half a hard time and half great time, cuz i never experienced slight or total ego loss before, it took a lil getting used to at first, some of my deep fears surfaced, and i couldnt shake them...and at the time didnt know any better to stop and deal with them or listen to my heart, i just tried to shake it and fight it off(it will NOT work, unless you come down a bit..but by then your not shrooming too hard). i didnt wig out, but i realized how some people could have easily lost their shit. i was prepared and knew it was just the drugs.
if your prepared, and doin them to explore within, i say eat em all....considering your friend is prepared as well. if not....2 is what i reccommend also. you must be prepared for whatever and have self control.

If it's just the two of you and you have the house to yourself and all, I say dose on the whole lot. Does your buddy have the same or will he not be tripping?

even being experienced with shrooms, i'll test out strains by taking 2g's. in a completely dark room, i'll see colorful(mainly blue red and green)geometric shapes all over, its nuts, and i can feel my soul stretching out in my body, almost like im floating, but still in body, pretty relaxing  try laying down and not even acknowledging your body, just forget about all feeling of it and focus within....

He also has 1/8th and will be tripping with me. He is an experienced tripper though unlike myself.

That's great that he has experience. Dose on the whole thing. There's nothing to fear. Remember- You won't die from shrooms. They won't make you go crazy. You will come down with time (few hours). If you see things- THEY are FRIENDLY. If you hear things- THEY are FRIENDLY. Just remember that. I used to see bugs all the time when I'd trip. They were my friends. I got to where if I didn't see my little black bug friends all over that I felt like I was missing something. If you feel like you are losing control, don't fight it. Just lay down and let go. Get some good music and enjoy the show.

maybe you should not take the whole eight if it's your first time. an eight is 3.5g I advice you to see how you react to 2-2.5g --> wich is already a very nice dose 
If you think you want/need more you could always do that next time.
oh yeah, like supernova said no need to worry
I just like the idea to take it easy with something you're not familiar with
