Hmm...

is it the fault of the poster when someone gets "offended"?

Or the fault of the reader who becomes "offended"?

I see nothing to ever get offended about, ever.

Certainly the latter, but if someone with that mind set wants to get through to someone else who does not see this, it is more productive to try to word things in a way less likely to offend the receiver.

So avoid the problem rather than confront it?

I jest... but...

I think it's seriously time for us to collectively reconsider these 'emotions' we've scripted and automated for ourselves. If it serves no useful purpose, then there is no reason to manifest it.

I think this is a matter of responsibility for one's own mindstate above all else

Annnnnnd I had a light saber and my friend was there and I said "you look like an indian" and he said "you look like satan" and he found a stick and a rock and he named the rock ooga booga and he named the stick Stick and we both thought that was pretty funny. We got eaten alive by mosquitos but didn't notice til the next day. I stepped on some glass while wading in the swamp and cut my foot open, didn't bother me til the next day either....yeah it was a good time, ended the night by buying some liquor for minors and drinking nips and going to he diner and eating chicken fingers, and then I went home and went to bed.

Did Jesus gently tip over the money-lenders stalls or did he go on a rage and destroy them?

Give me truth. Preferably unvarnished, as a natural finish appeals to my aesthetic values.

"A warrior is a hunter. He calculates everything. That's control. Once his calculations are over, he acts. He lets go. That's abandon. A warrior is not a leaf at the mercy of the wind. No one can push him; no one can make him do things against himself or against his better judgment. A warrior is tuned to survive, and he survives in the best of all possible fashions." ― Carlos Castaneda

that's what I was trying to get at

change will not occur if people aren't willing to differentiate themselves from the "old" methods that is sought to be changed.

Instead of shooting off a couple line post saying "your thought process is absolutely moronic", why don't you give out some REAL INFO and explain why you feel their thought process is "absolutely moronic".

Basically, you are asking others to back up their claims...while you do not back up your own claims. Double standard?

But that only permitted other men with machines to enslave them.

most people i know learned to disagree, even vehemently, without resorting to words like moron and retard, by the time the graduated elementary school.

So, at 40+ years old, you might wanna jump on the bandwagon

but who cares really? its an internet forum say whatever you wanna

I remember you dubbing the hypothesized morality particle the Moron.

Republican Values:

1) You can't get married to your spouse who is the same sex as you.
2) You can't have an abortion no matter how much you don't want a child.
3) You can't have a certain plant in your possession or you'll get locked up with a rapist and a murderer.

4) We need a smaller, less-intrusive government.

Heh, that was one of my better quips. Thanks for noticing. Of course, a particle is not a person, is it?
