Perilite

Has anyone had experience using perilite as the bottom casing layer instead of verm? If so how was it? would you still need to use perilite in the terrarium then?

It works like a charm. No, it doesn't replace terrarium humidity.

i also recomend it .... serves as as many things, no extra humidity is needed usualy.
