I thought kratom was already illegal in Australia. Thats what all the websites say. http://www.sagewisdom.org/kratomguide.html says:
Kratom is illegal in Australia, Malaysia, Myanmar, and Thailand (these countries impose sever penalties for possession of the herb). It is legal in most other countries, including the United States and all of Europe. Laws can and do change, so be sure that kratom is legal where you live before using it.
It also says at http://www.maya-ethnobotanicals.com/product_info.phtml/herbid_351/category_search if you click on Australia that Kratom can't be shipped there.

i'd rather grow a few 'dope plants' in exchange for not using kratom. you should be so lucky to legally grow. just be happy you don't live in the states.
you are speaking of cannabis when you say 'dope plants', right? are you talking about pot or opium poppies? i ask, because it could go either way.

You know, canada isn't the drug mecca everyone seems to think it is. You can't grow no 3 MJ plants in any province here! All the drugs most of the world makes illegal, Canada makes illegal. 'ceptin' peyote.
I read about busts for this and that and everything else in the newspapers. If the US tells Canada 2c's and kratom and salvia shouldn't be legal, we're bullied into these same dumbass laws. We've been trying to get MJ decrimed for years now. YEARS, but the states keep fuckin' interfering.
When Canada decides to exercise it's sovereignty and allow it's citizens the freedoms they demand, then I'll be glad to say "come to canada, the land of the free." Till then Big Brother says "NO DOPE" same as everywhere else.
