Ravus said: True Christians don't eat pork, just like Muslims and Jews. But they decided to change (or ignore) that statement, probably too much work to not eat hogs
Please show me the words of Jesus that supports this statement ? As I am pretty sure you will not find any. A Christian is a Disciple, follower of Jesus. So unless Jesus himself or one of his first Disciples said this. I will not take this as truth.
I have never read this anywhere in the new testament
?For truly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, not an iota, not a dot, will pass the law until all is accomplished. Whoever then relaxes one of the least of these commandments and teaches men so, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but he who does them and teaches them shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.? (Matthew 5:18-19)
"It is easier for Heaven and Earth to pass away than for the smallest part of the letter of the law to become invalid." (Luke 16:17)
"Do not think that I have come to abolish the law or the prophets. I have come not to abolish but to fulfill. Amen, I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not the smallest part or the smallest part of a letter will pass from the law, until all things have taken place." (Matthew 5:17)
Thus Jesus does not excuse one from the Old Testament rules.

Mark 7:14-15 14 And when he had called all the people unto him, he said unto them, Hearken unto me every one of you, and understand: 15 There is nothing from without a man, that entering into him can defile him: but the things which come out of him, those are they that defile the man.
and just to show that he did eat meat
Mark 14: 12-14 12 And the first day of unleavened bread, when they killed [2] the passover, his disciples said unto him, Where wilt thou that we go and prepare that thou mayest eat the passover? 13 And he sendeth forth two of his disciples, and saith unto them, Go ye into the city, and there shall meet you a man bearing a pitcher of water: follow him. 14 And wheresoever he shall go in, say ye to the goodman of the house, The Master saith, Where is the guestchamber, where I shall eat the passover with my disciples?

^JESUS WAS SPEAKING OF THE LAWS OF MOSES, THE TEN COMMANDMENTS
"It is easier for Heaven and Earth to pass away than for the smallest part of the letter of the law to become invalid." (Luke 16:17)
^IF YOU WERE TO READ THE ENTIRE TEXT THAT THIS SCRIPTURE COMES FROM YOU WOULD PLAINLY SEE THAT JESUS IS SPEAKING THIS. IT WOULD BE EASIER FOR HEAVEN AND EARTH TO PASS AWAY THEN FOR A MAN OF GREED TO GET INTO HEAVEN. THIS WAS JESUS MAKING A COMPARISION
"Do not think that I have come to abolish the law or the prophets. I have come not to abolish but to fulfill. Amen, I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not the smallest part or the smallest part of a letter will pass from the law, until all things have taken place." (Matthew 5:17)
^ JESUS WAS SPEAKING OF THE PROPHECY OF HIS OWN COMING AND THE FACT THE HE HAS FULLFILLED THE PROPHECY, AND YOU HAVE NOT INCLUDED THE ENTIRE PASSAGE AND YOUR INTERPITATION HAS BEEN TAKEN OUT OF CONTEXT.
Same with your excerpt of LUKE
here is the entire passage
14The Pharisees, who loved money, heard all this and were sneering at Jesus. 15He said to them, "You are the ones who justify yourselves in the eyes of men, but God knows your hearts. What is highly valued among men is detestable in God's sight.
16"The Law and the Prophets were proclaimed until John. Since that time, the good news of the kingdom of God is being preached, and everyone is forcing his way into it. 17It is easier for heaven and earth to disappear than for the least stroke of a pen to drop out of the Law. 18"Anyone who divorces his wife and marries another woman commits adultery, and the man who marries a divorced woman commits adultery.
JESUS WAS TALKING TO THE PREISTS ABOUT GREED AND CORUPTION. HE WAS USING THE EXAMPLE OF ADULTERY AS THE EXAMPLE. AND IF YOU NOTICE 16"The Law and the Prophets were proclaimed until John. Since that time, the good news of the kingdom of God is being preached JESUS IS SAYING THAT THE OLD LAWS ARE GOOD UNTIL THE TIME OF JOHN.JOHN THE BAPTIST. IF YOU CROSS REFERRENCE THIS TO THE OTHER GOSPILS THIS WILL BE FELECTED AS JOHN THE BAPTIST.
Ok now here are some words of Jesus that in fact say we can eat what ever we like
Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes? (Whole Chapter: Matthew 6 In context: Matthew 6:24-26)
This same thing can be found in all four gospels.

^JESUS WAS SPEAKING OF THE LAWS OF MOSES, THE TEN COMMANDMENTS
Myth alert! There were more commandments than just the ten that Moses spoke from Mt. Sinai. Every law in the Torah is a commandment which all are supposed to follow. The fact that not all were written on stone tablets does not negate them.

Not if the word pork is meant and therefore construed in it's adjectaval(?) form
