Can someone provide me with some info regarding aborts?

I have read that aborts typically are dark, fuzzy, and/or pointy and obviously they stop growing.

What is a normal cause for aborts? Can they be prevented?

I have also read that aborts are more potent than a fully matured mushroom. Is this correct?

Any info would be appreciated.

The heads turn black, they cease growing and usually ones around them keep going to maturity. My theory is there just isn't enough water to go around so some abort. So a supply of water will help depending on what method of cult. your using you find a way to supply more water with out drowning. Yes they are fine for harvesting and are very potent for their size. Make sure you get all of them after a flush or they will rot. You could go to search and type in aborts for more info.
