Potency Damage?

I just switched from fan drying to dissicant (DAMP-RID)

I works very quickly, but i notice ALOT more blueing...Is there a chance or damaging the psilo by drying too fast?

Last time i checked drying mushrooms faster was better for conserving potency.

Id agree, I know pot likes to "slow cure" but with mushrooms
you just wanna dry them as quickly as possible. All the teks
Ive read (and common sence) says to fan dry to get as much
water out as it can than switch to the dessicant to squeeze
out the rest.

that is weird tlaloc... dessicant should dry them with almost NO blueing. are they out of direct light? are they in a cool spot?
the best way, i have found, is a screen left in an open area for a while (ie draw, under bed, etc... still cool, dry and dark) as this removes most of the moisture, and then putting into sealed container elevated over damp rid to leech out remaining moisture until they are bone dry :smile:
any more details about the set up?

2 clear plastic box with sealed lid....screen over damprid.

1 settup is sitting around the house, the other is in the oven at 90 degrees to superfast dry.
