noobie question! got some shrooms...

Hey guys, I have never tripped before, and recently I was given some mushrooms by a friend.
This friend of mine is trustworthy, however, I have no clue where he got the shrooms from. Due to the fact I've never done shrooms, I therefore have no idea what they are supposed to look like. I have seen various pictures, but the shrooms i was given look different from all pics I have seen... I have posted the pics and I was wondering if anyone here can assist me in determining if the shrooms I got are actually *psychoactive*
Thanks for helping out someone in need in advance. Sorry if I sound like a total idiot, but it's better to be SAFE than SORRY.
BTW - if the pic is too small, just say so, cause I can make it bigger if needed!

Doesnt look like any mushies ive ever seen. Look on www.erowid.com in the mushroom vault under images at dried and packaged mushrooms. IMO i wouldnt eat those.

i have to agree with suimush. you cant even really tell looks like some thinly cut fat stems. i wouldnt eat them cause they are unidentifiable. and they dont look magical at all. but hey i could be wrong.

Some look to be the underside of a cap i can see some gills they arnt the right color

Alright guys, thanks for the observations. They looked awfully sketchy to me when I first saw them, but then again I don't know much. And yes, it's a good thing I didn't pay for them.

Don't eat them!
In the luckiest case they are Pleurotus Oyster Mushrooms with LSD sprayed on. In the worst case they are a lethal dose of poison mushrooms.

Just smoke a joint before seeing your friend next time and tell him that the shrooms are awesome and you're on them right now.
Tell him that everything is slanted and you are seeing mad patterning on the wall of small blue, indescribable shapes and that the lights are so bright.
You should also probably hit him in the face after he starts believing you. I suggest hitting him more than once, or get on his chest and just pummel him in the face until he's just a soupy mess.

Ok, I retract my last statement about beating him up.. but I do think swear words are highly acceptable.
Anyway man, those are most likely bunk and do not eat them like everyone else said... and I would definately talk to your friend about selling bunk drugs to people, or better yet, talk to other people he could potentially be selling poisonous mushrooms to. The mushrooms protect us from the idiocy of the outside world, and we have to protect them from the media. People selling bunk shrooms really hurts our cause, especially if someone is hurt from it.
I'll try to keep my immature impulses out of my posts here...
