Pressure Cooking....
    #3458363 - 12/07/04 03:32 AM (12 years, 4 months ago)

the pressure gauge on my PC must be broken cuz it doesnt move. I still tried it. I put in six QT jars of WBS in it and let it sit in there for about 2 1/2 hrs. the little rubber button on the lid shot out a bunch of steam when I messed with it. that led me to belive there was some pressure built up in there. Anyways my question was if PCing longer or at higher pressure affect growth? I had some BRF 1/2 pint jars that I didnt put in the PMP, I decided to break one up and case it with WBS. 2 QTS of it. It's been about 7 days I'm about to take look at the casing....hope it's good news

try getting a new ring...

after a lil wear and tear those things turn hard, and it makes it impossible to create an air-tight seal.
