Hard house
    #3457771 - 12/07/04 01:14 AM (12 years, 11 months ago)

Hey there! I went to a rave the other day and spent a lot of time at the house stage.. Really really got into it with all the little melodies that didn't seem as present at the other stages.. Anyway, was wondering if anyone could reccommend some good house producers/DJ's I could try and download the music of? I can't find any of the people who were playing last saturday, and I don't want to risk buying an album of someone I'm not sure I'll like or not.

Thanks

I think you'll like Tom Harding and Cosmic Gate. Marcel Woods might be worth checking out too. Maro V has some pretty cool things too but I think that's more Techno. I suggest you listen to a few songs first before you buy something.
and I'll think of some more

I'm new with all this lingo. I assumed it was just house music but heavier, more emphasis on the beat and more bass etc... Well anyway would you please be able to clarify the differences then?

Try Sasha, Paul Oakenfield. If you like trance DJ Tiesto.

Sasha and Digweed used to be the shit back when they spun at Twilo... now they suck balls.

Anyone ever make the mecca trip to NYC back in the day to see them there? The club wasn't very big.. but it was definately the best club I've ever been to... with the world's greatest sound system... which now sits in a club in Baltimore called TRUST. (they bought it offof ebay.. buahahah)

If you like thump thump kinda shit.. try Sven Vathe
