getting ready to birth, just a few Q's

I have read all the FAQ's on humidification. This is my first time using perlite, however. I just wanted to ask if it is necessary to clean the fruiting chamber with bleach water before putting the perlite on the bottom, and what are your thoughts on adding H2O2 to the perlite?
My plan is to coat the bottom with perlite, then place a metal grill over the top of that for the cakes to sit on. I also plan to add a small cup of water to the middle and run a fishtank bubbler into it to help keep up the humidity as well as provide gas exchange.
Also, what are your thoughts on dunking/cold-shocking? I was considering doing it before they start to pin, as well as between flushes.

First off I'm not an expert or anything like some of the other guru's around here but I'll just share with you what I've been doing:
Q. Is it necessary to clean the fruiting chamber with bleach water? A. I don't I rinse it out with water, then wipe it dry with a clean cloth then spray it with lysol and wipe it down with another clean cloth. (just my way)
Q. Adding H2O2 to the perlite? A. I add the H2O2 in with the water that I use in the perlite at a ratio of about 20:1, water:peroxide.
Q. Thoughts on dunking/cold-shocking? A. I dunk my cakes in the refrigerator for 12hrs right after birthing them and in between flushes. After they have been dunked I roll them in dry vermiculite and double-end case them. http://www.shroomery.org/index/par/23593/pag/9

I would like to thank everyone for all the replies so far, but I still have a few questions:
How long should I dunk? I have read that anywhere from 1 to 24 hours is good, but any more than that and the mycelium will start to drown.
Should I birth my jars now(just finished colonizing), or wait a few days for the mycelium to penetrate the cake more? Again, I have heard mixed opinions on this.

wait for it to penetrate, it wont pin untill 100% colonized. not 1-24 hours 12-24 hours. i usually do around 18-20.
