DRAIN (wherever).
Place on screen & use BIG FAN.

LOL....... everyone should get into composting (if possible).

If you have access to a "chipper", chip first & it composts into FINE particles. End up with substrate that looks like this.

Then you don't have to go through all this soak, leach & other crap.

Yeah since I see the best results and those giant buddies of yours grown on compost. The ncompost must be the bomb.

I will take a look if there is a Tek about it, bout how to make it yourself. If it is not that much more work then poo/straw I might give that a shot some day....

Hmmz im gonna do some user search...

Mother Nature gave straw a waxy coating, so it could keep moisture out & in this instance, I am trying to get moisture IN.

Bio-degradeing wheat straw a bit - removes much of that waxy coating, with manure in the mix, it allows the straw to absord good nutes (N-P-K) & increase moisture content.

All of which allows MYC to colonize & digest it FASTER.

I don't do this anymore. I compost now, which does it all - just much slower.

hmmm shit i just did some straw as we speak but i didn't add any cow poo..i have some not to late just started..um i have alot of poo straw verm to pasturize prob 5 lbs worth..alto to me at least..

can i pasturize my poo straw then knock it up with liqiud growth? i have read from some post that spores don't do well in poo straw alone but then what is the diff between myc in wbs or myc in karo? should be none then is it safe to say karo myc will colonize the poo straw?
