Early Birth
    #345501 - 06/20/01 08:11 PM (22 years, 9 months ago)

I had to birth a cake today that was 40% done, it had about 16 pins on it already and one is about 2 inches. I cut off all the vermaculite i could but i didnt want to risk damaging the mycelium so i didnt scrape any mycelium or anything so its not all white it looks like theres still vermaculite on it but its hard. Is this bad? should i scrape off some of the mycelium too? and will the shrooms be affected in any way?
