Anyone heard of 'soul retrieval'?
    #3454226 - 12/06/04 01:11 PM (13 years, 12 days ago)

Its one of the many ways to heal someone.

At the time of an accident when emotionally someone is traumatised,
the core of the ego splits, where one bit remains stuck at the age when the trauma occured, the other bit movies on with the body in the now.

What soul retrieval does, it employes the use of a shaman, who reaches for your broken half and joins you together. I read an excellent book on this topic by someone, but she never actually bothered to tell how to do the retrieval yourself.

damaged ego can get complicated

We all have egos right, an ego is basically a MODEL of reality, i belief system from which all thoughts and actions come out.

If a part of the ego is traumatised, it seems that in your day to day life, even if its been more than 10 years since the accident, all behaviour, which originates at the core of the ego, comes from a disected point of view.

if something happens NOW, one bases his actions not on the now, but partly from a state in which he was left when traumatised

Thats relative to the integration stuff I talk about. Only I don't belive there is one half to be found. I think we have been shattered, spintered and fragmented almost beyond recognition.

I think their are lots of pieces split off via trauma (be it from this life or the cummulation of many life times) the forgotten self being re-membered and healed back together.

you don't need a shaman, you can do it yourself.

If something scares you or pushes your buttons or you wish to deny or reject it, you are facing a fragment of yourself wanting to come home.

Just use, acceptance, forgiveness, compassion, unconditional love, warmth and unity awareness to heal yourself back together.

This is the grand hall of mirrors as I see it. It's you everywhere- just all split up so violently you can't even recognise yourself in most of it.

FYI, a baby left crying in a crib until it learns to put itself back to sleep is experiencing MAJOR rejection and not worth it trauma. You all have NO IDEA how much we get split up to bits because of parents who havn't a clue about what is traumatic for a baby and child.

I could write a book on this topic myself. Great post idea!

Soul retrieval is the process by which a shaman travels into the spirit world to retrieve the soul of an ailing person so that they will be spiritually and psychologically whole again and can be healed. It is also called the "shamanic journey". It has also been adopted by some new age therapists as a therapy...they try to pass it off as some sort of science when it is used this way, but don't be fooled it is the purest mysticism.

No one can push him; no one can make him do things against himself or against his better judgment. A warrior is tuned to survive, and he survives in the best of all possible fashions." ― Carlos Castaneda

Call 1-800-GET-SWAMI for the best in Spiritual Bounty Hunters. You lose 'em, I find 'em. No fees charged if you can prove that the soul wasn't retrieved. Reasonable rates.

my kids used to call the therapist (one of their friends had been abused by a babysitter so therapist was part of the social reality) an
"there there a pist"

healing and feeling cared for
are part of the whole
love me back to life issue
we all know it but sometimes need to go real lateral about it.
hence
soul retrieval.
