my personal max is 7.5 grams dry. Today, I read the trip report of a guy who ate 40 grams in the desert. You can read that here: http://www.a1b2c3.com/drugs/mus05.htm , I really suggest you check this out.

I had 15 dry grams in capsules taken over the course of about 20 mins. I've also had large fresh doses, but I've found that different simply because it takes so long to eat them.

I don't think the muscle lock has anything to do with siezures, it's more like your brain mixes up where to send the contraction message (or forget the message altogether.) It's like trying to move your biceps and having a good chance of some other muscle contracting instead or in addition to your biceps. Like an extreme of the uncordination you've probably experience at lower doses.
