Lighting in clear tub with solid lid
    #345287 -

Since the light comes in from the sides and not directly the top, will I have a problem. They are fruiting.

If they are cubies, and there is no light coming from the top, they might grow fuuny. Scince cubies are photo tropic, they use light to tell them when and what direction to gorw in so they might grow into the sides which is definetly not good. You can however, cut a hole in the lid and cover it with plastic wrap or a clear tupperware lid of some sort. I did this with a cooler lid and it took me a matter of minutes. Be sure to use a bead of glue or caulking to seal it off though.

Always remember, the glass is ALWAYShalf-full!

Good luck and have fun!!!

There won't be any really major problems, your shrooms my just grow sideways. If you are using perlite to humidify they mushies might get soggy from lying on the perlite. Other than that you're good.

Tired of pimping yourself on the corner to afford spores? Well throw out that red dress and go to the FSR, for spores even you can afford.
