 Healthier alternatives to tobacco?

Any legal herbs or plants I could smoke rather than tobacco to help me quit cigarettes...? I've only been smoking for a few months, and it's more habitual than a chemical addiction, so if you know of a plant with a decent taste that isn't going to shred my lungs... Preferably plants I could grow myself.
Also if anyone knows good ethnos for herbal teas, I'd appreciate if you enlightened me on that topic, as well.

Dude you have only been smoking Cigs for a few months and you are smart enough to know that you need a safer smoke
I think you to dumb to see that you should quit.
Quit dude you are far better off

If you've only been smoking for a couple months, quit now and don't look for any alternative. If you want to smoke something, smoke pot, at least it's gonna give you a buzz.
If you want to quit, then just do it, cold turkey. Don't cut down, don't switch to lite, just quit.

Ya man couple months aint shit. I smoked for 4 years and quit cold turkey. If you want a good alternative smoke a joint everytime you wanna smoke a cig...thats how I did it.

I don't have that much to spend on weed, sadly. Ah well, I guess I'll just drink tea compulsively, or chew gum or something whenever I want a cigarette.

I did the math the other day, and smoking a pack to a pack and a half a day, I am depriving myself of an ounce of the dank a month, or a 1/4 a week...

Mugwort, motherwort, damiana, catmint, californian poppy.
Californian poppy is my personal favourite, it has a relaxing, tasty smoke.

Healthier alternatives to tobbaco..my cousin bought this nasty herb shit from a head shop, and it was stupid. No nicotine, still quite a bit of tar, and it tasted bad. I don't see the point at all.

well smoking anything aint really good for you...healthy and smoking anything jsut dont go good together. perhaps smoking real tobacco instead of that weak ass toxic stick? wont need as much caus eit has a better amount of nicotine (less smoke) and you'll get some pretty bitchin effects.

Rolling your own cigs is A LOT cheaper too- you can get a few ounces of tobacco and papers for three bucks and it is equivalent to at least 4 or 5 packs. You also have to take the time to roll, and this stops you from being able to start smoking every time it crosses your mind.
I would recommend quitting though, I got addicted to pipe tobacco cigars that i'd inhale thinking it was better than the cancer sticks- I found that after quitting and having tension really gave me a creative inpetus i didn't have for the year or two I habitually smoked
