Ya its kinda sad
I don't get it though, if i were to lay out all of my beliefs in this forum, I'd appreciate it if someone pointed out a fallacy or an illogical reasoning that lead me to my belief. It'd be a way to see more clearly in how I reason and what lead me to believe certain things.
But when this happens here, a common response you get from the believer is "You just don't get it...You don't know what Love is...You don't know what God is".

God's rules, or Man's Egocentric rules? Hmm.
AHHHHHHhhhhhhhhhhaaaaaa i'm going Mad!!!!!!!
This TOO(along with 2 posts i just made in the existence thread) clearly dilineates the major differences of views, i myself side with the first, and many other people(we are all people first an foremost, let's never lose sight of THAT indisputeable fact side with the egocentric man ruhlz point of view, who is "right" and who is "wrong" is the pivotal question(imo). I guess we are ALL taking a gamble or wager on which will TIME prove to be the correct assesment
I will openly state(now you gotta admit, you don't see THIS very often where a person will hold a point of view but wish from the bottom of their heart it wasn't true)That i truly wish i knew for certain that i AM wrong as it is not my nature to wish to see anyone suffer, ever BUT lol! The one who is(I believe) administering the eternal punishment is the one running the show, not me

As a Christian i definitely know where you're coming from, it's like the ultimate catch 22: To know God you have to turn to Him, but why would you turn to him if you don't even believe he exists
I've said a few times that i myself would never have turned to God on Faith alone so how can I realistically expect anyone that doesn't believe in him to?
I guess i am just playing the devil's advocate( ) here and posing questions to myself that many of you might be asking yourself and frankly i have no answers
But God does

I just wanted to add and i suppose to an extent assume what many people's next question would be: "well, If YOU don't have the answers to your own question(s) then why not ask God and get Him to tell you?" Which is i suppose a sound line of logistical reasoning and my only answer is: YOU will have to turn to Him and ask Him yourself, i can't do that for you, but then why would you ask him if you don't believe he exists? arrrrrg i think i'm going to go out for a walk B4 i drive myself batty lol!
Have a GR8 day everyone, God willing i'll be back in a bit

?Society bends over backward to be accommodating to religious sensibilities but not to other kinds of sensibilities. If I say something offensive to religious people, I'll be universally censured, including by many atheists. But if I say something insulting about Democrats or Republicans or the Green Party, one is allowed to get away with that. Hiding behind the smoke screen of untouchability is something religions have been allowed to get away with for too long.? --Richard Dawkins

I agree. The greatest, single cause of atheism today is christians; who denounce this with their lips but deny it with their lifestyle. That is what the unbelieving world simply finds unbelievable. I consider myself as a Christian because Jesus is MY savior, but again, I believe that God is not a religion but a spiritual bond.

For example a religion or spirituality that sees homosexuality as wrong is not good.
i dissagree. i think buddhism for example is a good religion/teaching yet it considers homosexuality sexual misconduct.

I have not come across a good religion in my 50+ years. Some are less not good then others. Fear of homosexuality which is common to nature is fear of sex period.

Can I get that in English? I'm gonna need a translator to help me even comprehend that.
Sounds like the ramblings of a drunken philosopher....
Spot on I guess..
Do not see me as an philosopher though, but that drunken rambling, .. can not even I make much sense of..
And I can not recall posting it..
but it could be going a little something like this?
