I need a cheap idea..

What would be the cheapest possible material to put on top of the glovebox so as to view the work being done (using just a regular tub) Afoaf seen plexiglass but it's a bit pricey at Home Depot and afoaf was wondering if there were any other materials that are clear and sturdy like it (no saran wrap).

plexi isn't very expensive. You should be able to get a thin, nice sized piece fairly cheap. When I made an undertail for my motorcycle, I bought a piece that was around 3x4 feet and it was less than $7. This was from a local hardware, not a retail chain such as home depot. Make sure they arent trying to sell you the thick plexi and make sure it is in fact plexi and not other expensive plastics such as lexan.
