?Hongos Guatemaltecos?
    #3448705 - 12/05/04 04:20 AM (12 years, 3 days ago)

Sorry if this isn't the right forum, none of the others seemed appropriate...

Just curious- considering all the ancient mushroom figures and history de hongos alucin?genos in Guatemala... is there a known strain that verifiably originated in that country?

Sorry guess I should have used all English- the question is, are there maybe little-known strains of active mushrooms collected from Guatemala? I also meant, which might be available for examination. I couldn't find reference to any.

I'm sure only experienced mycologists and/or advanced cultivators would know the answer, if anyone does.

I've searched all over online, will try to find anything in any books I come across later. My Guatemalan acquaintances (I have several) are curious, as they know about the statues and about the mushrooms, which they call parajitos if they're the 'funny' kinds.
