what type of amanita is this



Mj any ideas on these. I know they are bad pics. They are nes to the san francisco bay area. Guzman has them and is trying to id them

Stop experimenting half way through your first grow. Grow it to maturity, watch it, learn from it. Do this a few times then experiment with different ideas and figure out what works best for you.

yes, read up on them at www.erowid.org before you attempt to digest them, they have to be specially prepared.

Note:

They arent considered hallucinogenic.

They are considered enthogenic. They fuck you up. They dont make you feel "good".

They can make you feel good, in lower doses, making a fruity tea out of the mushroom can prove wonderful if your looking for a nice euphoric high. The trip is much different, amanita does not contain psilocybin, and therefore will not be like the hallucinogen your thinking of. The effects of ibotenic acids, muscimol, and muscarine, is more of a drunken insanity. It can be followed by melting objects, obscene and scary hallucinations, and paranoia and fear. This is not a desired trip by most folks, but if you find the highest dose your comfortable with, it can be a very spiritual experience. erowid is nonsense and most of their info will get someone killed, your best bet is to scan through some old posts here or check the archives.

Actually they are more or less considered to be an inebriant rather than a hallucinogen or entheogen.

You should read the posted paper on the subject of illusions, delusions anmd hallucinations by Weston laBarre, posted somewhere in the Ethnobotanical Garden if I remember correctly. mj
