I am thinking about trying this combo soon. I've read some reports about this on erowid, and it sort of seems like it causes ego loss to occur pretty dramatically. Can anyone who has tried this combo chip in with some advice/reports?

I was having a pretty lame time once on a low dose of shrooms...I think I did a 1.7 dried dose. I was getting body buzz, head buzz...nothing dramatic. I bought a 24 cart box and used my whipped cream dispenser (its like an iron lung w/built on cracker and valve). My 2 other friends and I soon were tripping balls watching episodes of the My Little Pony cartoon. Damn this shit is trippy!
Mushrooms are like the "burger" and nitrous is like the "ketchup/mustard"...it puts the final touch!

Make sure you are responsible with the nitrous. Frostbite isn't fun at all!
Prepare af few balloons with nitrous before you dose and use a clip or something to make it easy to open the balloon. A sitter is even better for this 
I've never done it, but I plan on trying it soon. Amazing combo from what I've heard!

hell no, the salvia sends me into another world if i do it while tripping, but yeah the nitrous and shrooms are fun, and take the advice and be carefull i now have burns and blisters on my hands and face, not to mention i was high and forgot to use a ballon and the nitrous started coming out and not wanting to waste the whippet i put it up to my mouth and freaked out and lets just say it now looks like i have a std. a frozen craker and warm lips dont match well.

i'm experienced with both nitrous and mushrooms, but i've never combined them...do the effects of the nitrous really enhance the trip for it's duration, or are its effects gone within a minute or 2, like a regular nitrous high?

Doing nitrous on any reasonable trip will launch you into hyperspace. Its an awesome combo imo.

I have never tried nitrous, I'd like to get a taste of that, as it seems everyone loves it. I've seen people selling balloons at festivals, but I didn't know enough about it at the time. Soon, hopefully

Definatly go for the nitrous while tripping. It seems to last longer and is just amazing.
I always buy in bulk as it's a lot cheaper but the problem is no one ever wants to stop doing it. Also when putting up to 4-5 canisters in a ballon it goes very quickly.

Buy a dispenser tho because while on a heavy trip, playing with ballons and trying to get it on the cracker is a BIG pain in the ass.

Yeah of course, it seemed obvious at the time I wrote my answer but better safe than worry.

What would I recommend ? Hitting nitrous while tripping with a dispenser because its simply easier than a cracker and you can do more faster 
Edit: Annom, are you saying to use a balloon even with a dispenser? Because theres no need to. When the gaz expand in the dispenser it gets hotter very fast because of expansion. I always wait a min or 2 for extra safety tho.
