strobe lights

i haven't been to this forum in eons, so forgive me if this was recently mentioned. A really cool addition to your tripping environment is a strobe light. i doesn't even have to be dark. we used ours in the middle of the afternoon, just sitting there in the background, flashing into a mirror. it created a very rythmic vibe in the room. check it out, you'll definately enjoy this one :smile:

yeah, strobe lights are pretty dope. But they give e aheadache sometimes. There are really intense.

Yeah they're wicked but after half an hour or so i start to feel sick to my stomach and they make me dizzy...

i love em, once you get used to it, i think we(nm and friends) left ours on for like 4hrs and it was great, although i can see how it could give you a headache, but if it's positioned right( not pointing directly at you it should be fine. Ours was pointed at a mirror in the corner of the room,

Ya, I don't get headaches or anything. I could leave mine on for hours. If you put it on a bit slower than the fastest setting, and clap your hands very fast, it only looks like you clap it once for every few clap sounds it makes. Really funny and cool.

strobe lights are fun sober, i dont think i would want to try them while tripping....nausea, dizziness, bright flashing, etc....maybe if you put the color filters on them (preferably red, hehe) but that bright white light would piss the hell out of me. itd be interesting so i might try it next time. disco balls are fun when lights shine on them

Picture this.....Ministy, 15 hits split, sex in the shower with strobe light...enough said...

get into a dark bathroom, take your strobe and point it into your toilet bowl. holding it so that the light emitting end is just inside the rim (seat up). now flush the toilet, sit back and enjoy the show!

ceiling fans are also badass with a strobe light because you can control the speed of the blades.

Strobe lights are awesome with other sorts of lights for effect. One time at my place I had the strobe on with the blacklight, and the bathroom was getting little flashes of strobe and glowing partially. Most of us were in the front room, with one dude in the bedroom just hollering (quietly) for us to come back and save him. He was convinced there were multiple people coming out of my bathtub towards him from all the shadows.

an awesome thing to do with a black light and strobelingt is take a highliter or two, take the ink things out of the pens, dilute the ink into water, and put the highliter water into a little fountain you can put in your room you could buy at a gardening place. put the fountain next to the blacklight and the water will glow like hell. amazing.
