I was just wondering if taking large doses of shrooms OR taking shrooms often has any negative long term affect on eyesight?

Well I just posted a thread about permanent tripping... which is sorta relevent because I and some other people always see a fuzzy glow (similar when you close your eyes at night) over everything, but I belive when you're not concious of it being there you dont actually see it.

You can find many questions in the General Magic Mushrooms FAQ:

There are no long term physical effects from ingestion of mushrooms containing psilocybin and psilocin. As far as long term mental effects go this is a subject for debate and has no clear cut answer. I personally call the long term effects "enlightenment"! The following thread has a good conversation on this subject.
Long term mental effects from extended high dosages may include some cognitive impairment and HPPD (Hallucinogen Persisting Perceptual Disorder) and possibly some emotional liability due to effects on the Serotonin system. Usually temporary these fade with cessation of use over a period of a few months.
