Interesting things to grow?

Well I've been all around the internet in the past couple of years thinking what types of plants I would like to grow. I've come across a lot of great things, shroomies included, to grow. I was just wondering if anyone had any good ideas for other things to grow than what I've thought of, or knows of some unique thing to grow.
I've though of growing: Marijuana, bonsai, psychoactive, edible, and medicinal mushies, salvia, tobacco, carnivorous plants, poppies, peyote, and coffee/tea.
I don't know that I'll grow all of these things, they're just things I thought would be interesting to grow, and are on my list of things to consider...if anyone knows of anything else interesting to grow, please post.

Hey pattern of chaos, it depends what your looking for.
If you like teas.. I would get plants like salvia, calae.z, poppies. Or maybe you have a use for culinarys, or maybe you like psychoactives.
Personally I like to grow things I can use. I have a culinary ben outside of my kitchen window where I have chives, parsley, cilantro, rosemary, thyme, basil, bay leave tree, etc... I have other places that have different plants for things i use in teas, smoke, medicine, etc..
I like flowering plants that can be used for certain things..

Those are some plants that I like that are not on your wish list.

I'd like to put a good word in for Salvia Divinorum. It's pretty easy to grow and ahh.. I ummmm... Oh, grow some mitragyna speciosa (Kratom). Your list is good. They're all interesting.

cannabis one of the most rewarding and fun hobbies out there. a lot of people think it's hard, but in reality it's pretty simple and fast (you can have a finished grow under 4 monthes). just do some reading and get down the basic grow steps and you'll be well on your way to having those stinky fat colas poppies are another great thing to grow as well. can't go wrong with mushies either.
happy gardening
