How long have you been cultivating mushrooms. Edible or Active, Indoors or Out. All methods included, as long as you were successfull.

It embarasses me to admit that despite my astronomical postcount, I have never cultivated. I've just never had a good opportunity to do so. I live with my parents during the summer when I don't have school, and in a dorm with a roommate during the school year. Neither of those places strikes me as a good place to cultivate. I've made a promise to myself that as soon as I get my own place, I'll start cultivating, but that's not going to happen for at least another year and a half. In the meantime, I'm reading the FAQ's, lurking in the cult forum occasionally, taking note of what other cultivators are saying, and trying to get a feel for it so that when I do try, I can get it right.

Personally, I find it commendable that you don't place your parents(at home) or yourself(at school) at risk. When the time is right you will know it! That being said... Don't grow active mushrooms. (It's illegal most places... you know)

I always get PMs or emails from people asking about cultivation advice.
I don't know why. I think I might have posted in the cult forum once asking about dessicants.
Anyways, I'm a hunting forum mod and that's what I do: hunt mushrooms. Not grow them. Although I would like to try my hand at cultivation when the time is right.

I am a newbie.
I did read almost every text of cultivation on this site.
I will start my first cultivation at the end of this mouth, I believe.
I ask a print from FSR Canada.
I want to congratulate the FSR Canada effort to maintain this spore bank.
It gave us the possibility of "change knowledge in print form".

I just started. I've got one successful grow and will continue to cultivate.
