 I want to help the troops out...I need advice

I want to send some care packages/gifts to American troops in Iraq. Does anybody know any of the following:
1. What I should send? I want to send practical things that will be appreciated.
2. Who do I contact to find out what I should send and where I should send it to?
Any ideas would be helpful. I wanted to help out at least ten soldiers or so. I am willing to spend about 200-300$.

2 ply toilet paper
Smokes
Magazines
Snacks, beef jerky, candy
Socks
Stuff like that...be creative.

I remember being asked this question when I was in grade school in England and I replied that if I was there I would like something to remind me of home and conkers were the thing of the time so I suggested sending conkers.
But now I think philosophical material may be better.
Then again, maybe conkers and beer-making kits.
(For the English amongst them)

I was in Iraq last year so I can tell you one of the most appreciated things to find in a care package is cigarettes. After that, baby wipes. Best if you can find the ones in the plastic packages that are about 1/2" thick. Not the ones in the big blue box. Small packages of baby wipes are better because the plastic box type tends to break easily in your rucsack. I'd say next on the list would be beef jerky and Maxim or Stuff magazines. Hope this helps.

Send flea collars, im serious. Fleas are so bad over there that the men get so much flea poison in their body from bites that they develop a sickness from it. Its pretty sad.
