Anyone think this will work?

I used to live in Houston, and as a prank, me and some friends would blend shrooms and milk in a blender. Then, we'd dump it in peoples' lawns, and mushrooms would sprout up everywhere in their yards, especially the day after it rained. Mushrooms would continue to come up for weeks after.
I'm pretty sure this would work with "special" mushrooms, but has anyone tried it with them?

woah, hang on. thats a decent prank! and it may work with certain magic species if it works on agaricus. but i immagine the yard would have to be fairly recently lanscaped for it to be worthwhile

madness never slows down, it only piles up.

I agree - seek out fresh laid lawns. Also - the darker, more lush, thicker lawns will have the most nutrients. If you do spread the spores, you may want to pour them where the lawn will have lots of shade. Houston is very hot this time of year and your spores may not last the heat if they don't have lots of moisture and nutrients.
