I received my Micron Magick Filter Discs a little while ago and I can't begin to tell you how happy I am with the product. It is now five days after innoculation of half pint brf/verm/bird seed cakes and they are about 70% colonized with no signs of contamination! I have never encountered such fast, vigorous growth. I expect the jars to be done in three or four days. Thanks NuShroomFarmer for the great product at an excellent price.

You know something you just convinced me....
I recently did 12 pt. jars on 6/3 and because its my first time and my jars are anywhere from 50 to 80% colonized and the growth is strong and Im learning alot, Im happy.
But it woulda been even better if I didnt have 4 contams out of the 12 and since I plan on trying my hand at some more strains Im gonna invest in some of these filter disks. I do have the feeling that these filters will dramatically cut down on contam rate. Thanx for the tip....

hey kosmic, did you keep your jars in a high humidity chamber during the incubation period or did you just leave your jars out? mine are in the grow chamber minus the light hole, it has wet perlite in the bottom and the temps range from 89F to 78F. i give them air about three times a day... i have heard that keeping them in something like this drastically increases the chance of contamination... is this true? thanks all.........

Them darn discs caused nothin but fungus in my jelly jars....fungus I tell ya. I recon thats a good thing.....

Hey Nushroom, hows that goat I traded ya for them discs?
Did it work as good as these here discs....

I just put them in my closet shelf and forgot about them. I'm not using any sort of humidity chamber. I actually went out of town for a few days and came back to a nice surprise.
