    #3437130 - 12/02/04 01:46 PM (12 years, 1 month ago)

i just finished cold-shocking/dunking 4 1/2 pint BRF cakes fully colonized with B+ mycelium.

i know this has been brought up before, but is it safe to ingest a cake? how much of a cake do u need to trip? how much would be equivalent to persay 1.5 grams dried?

Eating cakes verm or not sounds quite undesirable to me. I read somewhere about soaking them in cranberry juice will extract all the psychoactives? Look into that.

yeah i read those posts...

im assuming that all verm contains a certain level of asbestos whether or not the FDA cares. if im right about that, then i wont eat them or make tea or do anything associated with verm. am i right?

Id recomend the making tea with spent cakes. Eating them is just sick.

no, not all verm contains asbestos, no the FDA doesn't allow a certain ammount of asbestos. I've also never heard of someone getting mesothelioma in their stomach. Injestion of small amounts of asbestos would be relativly harmless. It causes cancer when it asbestos gets into the mesothelium linings of your organs, it then forms cancer like a pearl forms in a clam. Secondly, the asbestos outbreak was in ONE mine that promptly shut down and had to do with ground water and the source, not that it is vermiculite. What you get today is asbestos free. Its one of those things that are NOT allowed to pass, its not like cow shit on slaughtered bodies or rat shit in flower.
