Hooking up a humidifier to a storage container
    #3436845 - 12/02/04 12:44 PM (13 years, 4 months ago)

Does anyone have experience hooking up a humidifier (mines a Kaz cool-mist) to a 50 gallon (or 30 gallon) 'Roughneck" or "Roughtote" storage container to make a fruiting chamber? Please include hose size/lenth,timer settings, ect.
P.S. If a storage container is too small for a humidifier, what, short of converting a whole room or greenhouse could I use?

Just toy with a bit. a 50 gallon storage container will work fine, but you might want to mist since the cool mist might bring down your humidity.

Think about what your saying!!!
A cool mist humidifier will bring down the humidity???

If anything it will increase the humidity too high... hence the need for timers to shut if off for periods of time!

If your container is small, just set your timer to have your humidifier on for shorter periods of time.
