Help?!

OK folks, this is the deal.... I'm new to this game and have several healthy cakes in my growing chamber. However, they don't seem to be doing much! They've been in for two weeks and no pins appear to be forming. I'm afraid the humidity is low, but my humidifier is already on high. My humidity guage reads between 75 and 80, does anyone know a quick way to raise the humidity? I lost my last cakes to mold so I really want these ones to turn out. Thanks for the help!! :)

DooD, first of all, are you using perlite? If not, get on it. There are perlite teks all over the grow section-if you haven't read them. If that's still not enough, make a bubbler! They're easy to put together and decently cheap. You'll need: Aquarium air pump 2 litre bottle, or something close bubbler hosing/surgical tubing
All you gotta do is run the first hose, the one coming from the bubbler itself into the bottle. Have the bottle filled 1/2-3/4 full with distilled water. Run the hose through the mouth all the way to the bottom-like a hookah. Tape or seal the top off around the hose. Then, poke a carb hole in the side of the bottle ( on the top where there's no water. Run another hose from this hole (and seal) onto your terrarium. This should raise your humidity about 10-15% over your ambient. You would be well into the 90%s.

I'm new too, but what I do is mist my drip-shield in my terrarium, and that seems to bump it up to where I need it. You can also set the cakes directly on perlite for a few days ( if you're using it ). Also make sure they're getting enough light ( I've read from 6-8 hours ).

yeah i had the same problem. i took mine out of their jars even before they were 100% colonized. 3 weeks later there were still no pins. i solved this by using the pf double ended casing tek (http://www.fanaticus.com/casing.htm), recommended to me by mattyb. 2 days after applying the verm, i had pins. i also started using 8 hours of light a day, instead of just half an hour. the dunk tek and cold shocking didnt seem to work for me...maybe i just did them wrong. hope this helps
