I'm still using Avant Browser.. must be the only one in existance other than the programmer who designed it.

Very good browser anyway.

I'll check out that other browser anyway though.

i've been using it for the past few months, i never liked any browsers other than IE (that was just the best one) cause they all sucked big ones (opera, mozilla, netscape etc), but with firefox, it's almost the same funcionality as IE, but way more options... it's great.

so i suggest it to everyone who thinks that might have tried others than IE and alsways ended up using IE....

extensions rock

Firefox is a good choice for a browser! Not only is it more functional than IE, a website can't activate Active-X controls through Firefox, unlike IE. This is a serious security concern with IE.

I've been using firefox since it was called phoenix. it rules.

@silven - avant browser is nothing but IE with a facelift. you'll encounter the same problems with avant that you will encounter with IE.

It has a Google search box in the upper righthand corner, which can also have other database searches that you can program it have. For instance, at their website, they have links which automatically add all sorts of awesome websites, like Internet Movie Database, All Music Guide, etc...

Plus the extensions mean that other people can add on features to the web browser which enhance it, like FoxyTunes, which places a little, barely noticable toolbar in the lower right hand corner. It allows complete control of all different music library programs like iTunes & Winamp.

The very nature of experience is ineffable; it transcends cognitive thought and intellectualized analysis. To be without experience is to be without an emotional knowledge of what the experience translates into. The desire for the understanding of what life is made of is the motivation that drives us all. Without it, in fear of the experiences what life can hold is among the greatest contradictions; to live in fear of death while not being alive.

i finished downloading it, and i didnt like it as much as IE. The google tool-bar thing that came on it was in a weird position. I couldnt move the bars.....and other little things like that.
A few things i liked, the tabs feature was coo....i might tinker with it and use it later

you can move the searchbar wherever you want...you can change its size & also the actual search engines ~~~> http://mycroft.mozdev.org/download.html

see, firefox is very customizable - unlike IE.
