Re-casing a casing?
    #343580 - 06/18/01 12:13 PM (23 years, 8 months ago)

Can I recase a casing that was cased in verm? I wanted to put coco fiber on top to see what happens? Already have had one flush. Will this benifit or hurt me?

Yes, you can do that. It will hurt you a little by setting back you crop and the lost nutrients that will be used in colonizing the extra non-nutrative casing layer.

Can't you just make another casing to try the coco fibre?

===D Can I recase a casing that was cased in verm?

From what ive READ (zero experience) a fresh casing is good for
the mycelium.

===D I wanted to put coco fiber on top to see what happens?

Ive only heard good stuff about that, provided you're not oversaturating
and either you buy the sealed grow-brick brand which is contam free or
pasturize it. Much luck on your project.
