what a strange concept...it's kind of neat however. Not sure I'd say it sounds anything like fire  Part of it sounds more like water...

I have only one burnin' desire...Let me stand next to your fire.

The constant undertone gives a slightly soothing vibe to the whole song, and the sporadic chimes and beeps creates a nice contrast.. overall, it feels like a solemn, yet serene song...

This is supposed to be a song?
Its kinda cool, it sounds like some atmospheric/epic/acid experimental track.
What style or what are you trying to create?

I think it's more like art. In which the listener/observer has to ask oneself, what does this say to me (if anything). Different art speaks to different people in many different ways. It's a very personal thing.

I understand this(I've been DJing and Producing beats for 5+ years), but to me it just sounds like a bunch of random "button" pressing on a few different VST's while "tripping" off of it, I don't know, just my input. Still is interesting though.

its not random at all

the music is actually very deliberate, i used Fruity loops to sequence the whole thing but mainly its all Beepmapping, i took the image of the fire (the two images)  and i converted the pixels to sound, each pic lasts about 8-10 seconds roughly.  these sounds gave me the basis for the music.  from there it took several hours to get it to have a coherency beyong that of the original couple second loops.

to me, i was trying to get the most out of these two base images... the sounds they made were already beautiful, but you cant just loop some oddball sounds and call it a day...  i did spend a lot of time on this song, and i will probably do some more to it.

right now to me it is just a meditational tool, so to speak... if youre not making the music that you want to hear, then where is the therapy in that? where is the connection?

and the great thing is, its not just some drum loop and a couple of sound effects with an abiant wave in the background.... to me it has a lot more depth than a song of that calibre.

it is very soothing

peace

Nice man, my post's were not trying to bash your track in anyway, just wanted some background info on what you were trying to accomplish and it sounds to me like you accomplished exactly what you were looking for.  Nice one.
