I'm about 2 hours of San Fran, trying to gather up some gas money to head down. Tahoe do you think if I got there at an appropriate time I might be able to join you on your little adventure? (Did I disobey the rules just there?) I'm sure I could offer you some sessions with a certain-greenish-herb for your services. I've never hunted in the Bay Area and I would be completely lost! I apologize if I violated the board rules, I remember something relative to asking for partners. I couldn't find the text in the disclaimer or board policies.

Just got back. For anyone thinking of going tomorrow, you should. They are having speakers on psycho active mushrooms around 3pm. Today was awesome. Met hugomeetster??(spelling) hes a cool cat. Somebody over heard us talking about cultivation in general and he pulled me aside later and was asking me all sorts of questions. The psilocybe booth was loaded with pics and some of them were taking from sporeworks and erowid. there are also a few new species that are being found in the bay area. Guzman has the specimens now and is id'ing them to figure out if they are new or just imported.
Didnt have any luck finding any actives but really got to know some good people in the comunity. I might volunteer next year. Here is a pic of the pic they used from sporeworks Edit: erowid used these pics!!!

Everything was cool, i met some cool shroomerites. Been wanting to meet Hongomeister for a while now, it was really awesome.

hah, i just realized something. I met erowid today!! Damn i wish i would have realized this while i was there. Erowid will be the ones lecturing on psychotropics on sunday. its a must see. Damn, i wish i would have known. I am reading a paper on amanitas righ tnow that fire gave me and fire and earth erowid are giving the lecture. Damn it!!!!

Earth was cool man.
I was in Kat's lecture about ethnobotany and ethnomycology, it was pretty cool. she said mazatecs come from Olmec, which i strongly disagree but she knows her botany.

Where was Erowid? Anyways I walked in there this afternoon with a bag full of gymnopilus spectabilis. That's all we found today, no cyans or fibs. I took my gyms to the ID booth and had them ID'd but afterwards he took the specimens with bluing on them... hah hah.
