I have tried Salvia, it was definitely a different experience. I went from just chilling out to feeling very warm and heavy, and then my thought processes started to change, like I was tripping. It is a short high though, and can be expensive. So just do illrgal drugs they don't test for.

Salvia can be a very strong psychedelic. It's not a substitute for weed!

i tried slavia thats a good one probly the best legal one and the others should be sold and most the time are (cept by con artists) as tobacco alternitives so if you like to smoke but hate the jitters nicotine causes then try river dale organics or some thing

LSD! I've heard the only way it can be detected is through a spinal tap.

Ever consider just not doing drugs? It sucks, but you won't find a substitute for weed. Sobriety ain't THAT bad, it will change your perspective and it will make your future experiences more rewarding.

Sorry for you people, that they test you for drugs. Why do they do it? They don't trust you?
At my college most people drink alkohol. If you get the right kind, drinking can be much more fun then smoking herbs.

The spinal tap part is BS, probably based off more BS that it stays in your back forever, and it's rarely tested for anyways

If you look on erowid, you will find some people who have found some good alternatives. One person made a smokeable kava kava extract (kavacrack or such he called it) and said it made him feel pretty intoxicated. Don't automatically that there is none, try different things out yourself
Though don't just look for marijuana alternatives. There are no alternatives because marijuana is it's own drug. But there are drugs that will intoxicate you

Kava is best taken orally, it works just fine that way.

If being sober is so hard and painful that you must escape to intoxication... I suggest you seek guidance, spiritual or psychological.
With all due respect, of course...

You could say the same for pot, eh? Orally, pot lasts longer, is more intense, and doesn't cause many of the harms that smoking does. But people smoke it for their own reasons, like they want it to hit them immediately or they just like smoking cannabis

Here's the post I was referring to: http://www.erowid.org/experiences/exp.php?ID=10691 Quote:
Now that I've tried smoking it, I don't think I'll ever bother taking kava orally again. This stuff really works well when I smoke it, and seems to have a more mental effect rather than the primarily below the neck effects of oral kava. I am an extreme hardhead when it comes to kava, doses of 300 to 1500 mg kavalactones from standardized extracts have no effect or only slight bodily effects. In order to get a noticeable effect, I must consume 35 to 50 grams of relatively fresh kava extracted with alcohol. Smoking an extract of less than a gram of root has far exceeded the level of noticeable. The stuff tastes like a cross between crack and PCP, and is quite numbing, not really unpleasant to smoke at all. The effects are immediate, hard to really describe, numb-brained, tranquilized, euphoric are fitting adjectives. Reminds me vaguely of the effects of Ambien. Main drawback is the short duration. The buzz seems to dissipate considerably within only a few minutes, but each new lungful brings me right back up immediately.
