 Double rip from a legal shop... WTF????

Last week I got a shitload of shrooms from my regular shop, which didn't work. All was cool though, as I got reimbursed with a new lot of a different type. Then THEY didn't work either!!!
What the fuck is going on? Is it cos I made a tea out of the last lot? I didn't boil them. Why aren't they working? They look exactly the same as the ones I always get, the ones that gave me summer heaven.
I CAN'T go back again and say they didn't work... he'll think I'm taking the piss.

Yeh, other people did them. Just dunno what's going on. This guy's been brilliantly reliable for months and months.
Could have been my tea technique; can't find a fresh shroom tea recipe.

How long you breaking between trips?
Are the mushrooms dry when you buy them? If so I'd ask him about his drying techniques and if he uses heat tell him you have a better way he should try that won't lower his potency.
Other than those two factors, I can't think of any other reason you wouldn't be tripping other than maybe you have a high natural tolerance, but you have tripped a lot before I'm assuming.
Anyway, hope the guy will ammend his error again and perhaps atleast give you a nice dose to do yourself.

I have never tried making tea myself I fear it would be less potent. I like to chew the up dry.

dastoner, i have to reply to you because i feel you need to know something  :):)
i tripped harder of of the same batch of shrooms, taking 3 grams in tea, then when i took 4 grams dry.
the tea kicks in faster and STRONGER always, consistantly for me
so try the tea!
Psilo doesnt break down until about 120-130 degrees or something high.
just boil the water, put a teabag in it ( i recomend a mint tea for helping nausea, and it tastes good) take it off of the boil, go get your mushies, and put em in the hot water
let em get all soggy for a couple minutes, stir em around adn drink!!
you ll be tripping in 15 minutes.

You don't have to boil them, but in my experience you have to use boiling water to make the tea. Once I made tea with less than boiling water (thinking that boiling water would destroy the psilocybin) and had very weak effects. The next week I decided to try again. Thinking that they were weak shrooms, I doubled the dose and made tea the old fashioned way with boiling water, resulting in a very intense experience. (This was with ground-up dried shrooms, which at that time you could still buy in the shops here in the Netherlands.)

what I love to do now (I learned this from another shroomertie) is grind dry shrooms into a powder, then mix it with asmall amount (half a bottle) of snapple or juice in a small glass or something. Chug that down, smoke a joint, trun on the tune, lay down  .

RE. Todcasil, Anno and other tea people. Yep, pretty much did it like that. Used boiled water, cut the shrooms into it, mashed with potoato masher, left for 10 mins, sieved and strained, then drank. There was 150g fresh in there... I shoud have felt something!!
All will be well if that acid shows up.....

fresh mushrooms will make you trip lots harder than dried.. i've eaten 11g wet, and had a more intence trip than when i ate 2.5g dry of the same batch. i usualy eat about 3.5 dry and have a very good trip, and if i go over 4, things loose thier reality.
anyway, i prefer mushroom capsules, dry powderd shrooms in capsuels, they kick in faster, are more intence, but are shorter. I've had a bunch of people take 1 ( 1/2g) and trip for hours, and a lot of people i know wont take more than 3-4 at a time... they all think i'm crazy when i eat 8-10.... (but really i just think thier wimpy )
