New to Southern Oregon and...
    #3429895 - 11/30/04 10:52 PM (12 years, 4 months ago)

Had great exp. hunting libs. I was wondering though, am I too late for cyanscens? I don't know the season too well at all. I know that on the coast (Brookings, Coos Bay) it is getting into the 40's at night but still 60's in the day. I really appreciate any help. Thanks a lot.

Well, I was kinda wondering if the 4 hour drive to the coast at 4 A.M. so that I could get a full day in would be well worth my time or not. I know it sounds horrible, but I have about 1,000,000 other things I have to do too though. But if it comes down, that is what I will do. Thanks!

Hi. Down in Humboldt (150 miles south of Coos Bay/100 miles south of Brookings) they're still popping up. Brookings is known to be a bit warmer, I've heard, for some reason so it might be good. Also heard that Crescent City area can be really good. Good luck! Down here, I'm finding them in bent over, rank dune grass, maybe 100' or less from the beach.
