Is there something called 'unnatural' ? The fraction of the thought is this; How can anything be anything but natural ? :shrug:

There are things which are directly natural, and things that are indirectly natural.

There things which are organic, and there are things which are inorganic, artificial, synthetic, and so on.

All of which could be labeled as Ultimately Natural one-way-or-another...

A Taoist once walked through the deep forest floor with a disciple. He arrived at tree by his favorite resting spot. He alerted the disciple to pay attention, and went forward to the tree.. and spoke to it:
Did you measure to attain your height?
Did you use geometry to radiate your limbs?
Did you lament storm-torn branches?
Did you inventory your leaves for the sun?
You did none of these things, yet man in his cleverness
Cannot match your perfection.

The Taoist turned to his disciple and said:
If you just go to the nearest tree and contemplate, you will easily see the secret to natural living.

I don't disagree, but almost everything humans have created can be traced back to nature in two three steps. This says nothing about the nature of 'unnatural' ideas, however.

Often the unexpected or the undesired is called unnatural due to frission at the occurance and a sense of unnatural flow.

To follow nature as in Taoism, one discovers more, and it is all natural.

in Taoism discovery is refreshing, in mundanity, anything new or unforseen is unnatural.
