I have 15 rooted leaves that I am waiting to start pushing up sprouts.

Our quest for discovery fuels our creativity in all fields, not just science. If we reached the end of the line, the human spirit would shrivel and die. Very nice pictures  :sun:

I would grow some myself but it needs high humidity and I only get that in the summer and I can't have high humidity is my place for a number of reasons.  I might just buy it anyway and see what happens.

actually i find psychotrias pretty tough plants...
the RH here has been a bit low lately and they've been growing fine... (~65-70%)...
just bring them in if temps come close to 0?C...

Hermes: are you growing the caapi too? =b~~

I've never noticed any problems with humidity with psychotria. They may prefer a higher level but normal levels never seem to bother them. They do prefer shade rather than full sun. If you have yours outside try to keep them in the shade most of the day or at least during the brightest parts. They can grow indoors just fine.

I still have a few fresh psychotria viridis berries. Two of my bushes are done and the other two only have a few berries left. Last chance to get some for this season.

Conditions make for the difference. Since they both have the same genetics, the only difference can be environmental.
