The philosophy I follow

I've been lurking on these boards for awhile now, and I have decided that it is time that I share some of my beliefs with the shroomery. I won't say that I came up with this theory all on my own, although some parts come from my mind, I have taken several theories and beliefs from other people, or talked over my own theories with friends and them. So what follows is what I like to call 'My religion': A large portion of the world follows some kind of set religion, many based on the theory that there is a god, and that this god created what we know as reality. Although I criticised this belief for a long time, beleiving that there is(or was) no god, and that we are here 'just because'; over the past few months I have been developing my own religion and belief set that I believe explains what has confused me for a long time: existence This is based on the belief that matter is merely energy condensed. It is known that electricity(or a form, thereof), is what carries thought through the brains of intelligent life. This is the same energy that has the ability to condense into visible matter. It is all the same to me, a thought is merely physical matter in it's original, unaltered form. I do not believe that there is a god in the christian sense, as in one single intelliegent supreme entity watching over us. Rather, that the universe started as one mass of energy, and as we know that energy is thought(or thought is energy), one could call this mass of energy god. It is this energy(intelligence)that expanded into an entire universe, and eventualy evolved itself into billions of life forms, each with their own individual thought process. It is through this theory that made me understand another subject I have been interested in: telepathy, telekenesis, etc. Using the mind's power(energy), to directly control physical matter. But wait, we already use our minds energy to control physical matter. Is the contraction of a muscle simply tissue that is stimulated with energy from the brain? What is to stop us from using this same energy to control matter that is outside of our body? If you can control your hand to move around and pick an object up, why would it not be possible to bypass the body altogether, and directly alter an object that may even be out of your physical reach. Well, that's all I feel like typing right now, and I must be off to work anyway. Peace. "Today a young man on acid realized that matter is merely energy condensed to a slow vibration that we are all one conciousness experiencing ourselves, life is but a dream and the imagination of ourselves."(or something to that effect) -- Tool 'Third Eye'

So we can eventually do stuff like in "The Matrix" then, right? Only if the human brain is capable of processing that much information could we do that. But in its current (still) primitive state, such a feat is no less than impossible.

Most world religions took 5-6 months to develop, not four. Please come back in a month.

For one thing, that's my signature :-p Secondly, I wouldn't really give credit of that quote to Tool. It was Bill Hicks who thought up that quote. He also said "it's not a war on drugs, it's a war on personal freedom", and "take all your vinals and burn em'" .
"Today a young man on acid realized that all matter is merely energy condensed to a slow vibration. That we are all one consciousness experiencing itself subjectively..."
-------------------- "This delightful and singular state... This acuteness of thought, this enthusiasm of the senses and the spirit must have appeared to man through the ages as the first blessing."

Sorry, I didn't mean to nab your sig. I was trying to use it to help make sense of the theory. I didn't figure it was Tool that wrote it, but I had never heard it before Aenima. It makes so much sense to me, though...
